The Governance and Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the Groote Archipelago Regional Council operates within the legal and regulatory frameworks while promoting effective governance practices. This role involves managing compliance programs, conducting audits, and providing guidance to enhance transparency and accountability within the Council.
This position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in contributing to the transition and the successful establishment of GARC as a Local Regional Council focused on the delivery of improved services and outcomes for its residents.
