Bush Fit Mob is excited to bring another action-packed month of after-school activities to young people across Angurugu, Umbakumba and Milyakburra throughout August 2026.
The program provides opportunities for young people to get active, develop new skills, express their creativity and connect with friends and community through a wide range of engaging activities.

Activities throughout August include:
- 🏀 Basketball Clinics
- ⚽ Futsal & Indigenous Futsal Clinics
- 🎨 Mural & Art Projects
- 🖌️ Arts & Crafts
- 🛹 Skateboarding
- 🚴 BMX Activities
- 🍳 Cooking Activities
- 🎬 Movies
- 🎾 Tennis
- 🏐 School Sport
- 🏃 Other Sport & Recreation Activities
🎾 Special Sports Trip – Darwin
The month begins with an exciting Sports Trip to Darwin for the National Indigenous Tennis Carnival, giving participants an opportunity to experience competitive sport, meet other young people and represent their community.

Activities will be delivered across:
Angurugu
Sport & Recreation Centre, Angurugu School Court and BMX/Pump Track
Umbakumba
Sport & Recreation Hall and BMX Track
Milyakburra
School Basketball Court and Skateboarding area
📅 August Program
Activities are scheduled throughout the month, generally running during the afternoon after school. Activity times and locations vary, so families and participants are encouraged to check the August activity calendar for the specific details.
