How to get to the NAIDOC Community Event

We’re making it easy for everyone to join in the celebrations for the 2025 NAIDOC Community Event with free ferry and bus transport across Groote Eylandt and Bickerton Island.
Whether you’re coming from Angurugu, Umbakumba or Bickerton, there’s a service to help you get to the event and home again.

Gates open:  11.00 am 

NAIDOC Awards:  11.30am 

Lunch served:  12.00pm 

Live music:  12.30pm 

Fun and games: 1.30pm 

Event closes: 3.00pm
Come celebrate culture, community and connection. Everyone is welcome!
